“I think you can do everything that you make time for, as long as you don’t try to do anything perfectly.”

As a new mother, Amy Nelson struggled to find a space to connect with other women juggling career, family, and self-care. So she created one.

Amy shares her journey from Wall Street litigator to mama to entrepreneur, her very fluid (and very personal) definition of wellness, and why she believes that combining wellness with work is a powerful recipe for success.

Amy Nelson co-founded The Riveter – a work and collaborative space built for changemakers – after a 10 year run as a corporate litigator and political fundraiser. She is a graduate of Emory and NYU Law, and mother to daughters Sloane, Reese, and Merritt. She loves to build forts with the girls and her husband Carl.
