“Being able to hear the messages your skin and your body is sending when they are just a whisper, rather than shouting – that’s the goal.”

Dr. Keira Barr is a dual board-certified dermatologist and founder of the Resilient Health Institute. She helps professional and entrepreneurial women revitalize their lives and re-energize their bodies, but her personal path to vibrant health wasn’t always easy.

We chatted about Keira’s personal experience with melanoma, how being bullied and feeling ‘not enough’ growing up contributed to it, what to look for on YOUR skin (and when to get it checked out), and how Keira is shifting  her definition of health to include emotional and mental fitness, as well as physical fitness, as she enters midlife.
