I had the craziest weekend.
I don’t get sick very often; but boy, did I get knocked down on Saturday by this nasty norovirus thingy you’ve probably read about in the news!
Lucky for me, it only lasted for about 24 hours; but during that time, I was reminded how much I need good food and exercise to feel energized. When both of those are off limits, I’m useless.
Because I’ve been an exercise junkie for so long, it’s pretty easy for me to “reset” after downtime – I was back on a bike at Flywheel bright and early Tuesday morning.
But I wasn’t always that way. I get that exercise can be a drag sometimes – hard to begin and even harder to keep up. And forget about “getting back on the wagon” after time off!
I’ve finally figured out the single biggest reason why exercise sucks for a lot of people, thanks to a question someone asked during a webinar I did for the University of Virginia a few weeks ago. (Wahoo-wa!) 😉
If you’re one of those people who just hates exercise, watch this week’s video to see the question and my answer.
It may just get you movin’ your booty yet.
P.S. Tell me in the comments your biggest challenge with exercise and what you’ll do THIS WEEK to move your body.
xoxo,
