Happy Wednesday! You’ve made it halfway through your day and halfway through your week. I have a question for you: What’s in your pantry?

Jot down your answer. I’ll wait.

Okay, now, another question: Have you been eating the way you’d like to eat this week?

I’m willing to bet my pumpkin pancakes that there’s a pretty big correlation between the state of your pantry (i.e., cornucopia or tumbleweeds) and your satisfaction with your meals.

Since not stocking the pantry is at the top of my list of ways we sabotage our own health goals – and since people seem to be fascinated by what’s in my kitchen – I thought I’d take you on a quick tour of my pantry.

Timing is good – I went grocery shopping on Sunday. So I’ll also give you a sneak peek into what I plan to make this week…since I actually followed my own advice and planned my meals for a change!

Now it’s your turn. Tell me in the comments what you have in your pantry, what you could make from it, and/or what you’re adding to your shopping list for the weekend so you CAN make something!

P.S. The “cross between an online grocery store and a CSA (community supported agriculture)” I mentioned is Full Circle Farms. It’s only available in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S., but you may have something similar in your city. Worth a look. And check out my Carrot Ginger Soup recipe and this one for Turkey Pumpkin Chili to get your own meal planning started for the week!

xoxo,
