“It’s really hard to project strength, competence, and intelligence into the world if your voice is ragged and run down.”

Alicia Dara is a Seattle-based musician, activist, and voice teacher. Through private coaching, corporate workshops, and her “Public Speaking Bootcamp for Women,” Alicia supports her clients with singing, public speaking, and using their voice more powerfully in the world.

She also happens to be a truly wise and beautiful soul, with much to share about more deeply connecting to your body and to the world around you.

Alicia and I talked about the importance of connecting to your breath to support your voice (literally); the collective power of women’s voices and how it’s shaping today’s women’s movement; finding your healthcare “dream team”; and how music can restore mind, body, and soul in a fast-paced world.
